Nova Scotia’s identity is inseparable from its Gaelic roots. From the music of Cape Breton to the lasting influence of Scottish and Irish settlement, the province remains one of the strongest centres of Gaelic culture outside Europe. Yet without meaningful, modern expressions of that culture, its presence risks fading from everyday life. Beltane is designed to address that directly.

Beltane: A Celebration of Gaelic Culture in Nova Scotia is an immersive food, drink and music experience that brings the province’s Gaelic heritage to life. Inspired by the ancient Celtic festival marking the arrival of summer, it connects Nova Scotia to Ireland and Scotland through shared traditions, told through hospitality.

Beltane unfolds as a multi-room experience where you will move freely through distinct environments, each exploring a different expression of Gaelic culture including:
