Bells and Whistles Burlesque Holiday Show

A cast of locally and internationally celebrated burlesque performers will be steaming up the Albion Community Centre in a cabaret style show for up-close burlesque storytelling and holiday party on December 27th, 2025.

Bells and Whistles Burlesque, a local Maple Ridge non-profit production, featuring a taste of music, drag, and a copious serving of classic burlesque. The show gives a nod to the rich history of burlesque, celebrating the provocative allure, the slow reveal, the opulent costumes, and fancy props such as fans, silks, boas, and gloves. We bring the tradition of classic burlesque aesthetic, but with a modern sensibility. All types of bodies, genders, ages, and abilities will be on the stage.

Bells and Whistles Burlesque will be a fun and extravagant night on the town, and brings fun and entertainment for a 19+ audience to Maple Ridge. It is a perfect night out with friends or a date night sure to impress.

There are a limited # of VIP tickets (SOLD OUT). These will come with a front row table and chairs. Plus a small treat for each guest. All other seating will be armless chairs in rows, theatre style. Our stage is elevated so everyone will have a good view. 

 

UPDATES:

We have a special event license to serve holiday drinks. Foamer Folly will be our sponsoring local brewery. We are also planning some holiday cocktails and wine, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. 

We have a very special guest, Disco Santa Daddy who will be available for photos in the lobby before the show. Any tips/donations Santa receives will go to the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival. 

We have some amazing vendors in the lobby during intermission. Local artisans and burlesque performers will be selling precious wares.
