A mesmerizing world of culinary creations, captivating cocktails, transformative art, feisty fashion, kicking music and rad connections. Step through the door and step into the mystery of The Dark Arts.
The Dark Arts is an interim space so while it hangs out on 11th Ave and 8th St right now it just may have moved into some new digs by September 24th. Stay tuned for location updates at Beakerhead or our socials.

Fusing his passion for dance, martial arts and music, The FloWarrior has pioneered his own unique brand of 'martial artistry' through years of training and dedication to his craft. An exceptionally multi-talented performer and innovator in a number of unique disciplines; the precision and grace with which he masterfully moves is a wonder to behold, and is sure to leave a lasting impression on any audience.
The Mirror Man costume was created by Calgary award-winning artist and designer, Olga Sem. Mirror Man performed on the main stage with Le Cirque de la Nuit at Beakerhead in 2019 and greatly enjoyed being a part of that. He also made an appearance at the 2020 Beakerhead event and is thrilled to shine once again this year. Let's create more moments of surprise!
Jadé started DJing during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to express her love for music and play tunes she enjoyed but wasn’t hearing on dance floors. A recent graduate in Marketing from the University of Calgary, her music style is a blend of house, afrobeats, hip hop, pop, and everything in between- a reflection of her Nigerian- Canadian heritage, and being a Gen-Z’er who spent far too much time on Tumblr growing up.
Last seen at Shambhala Music Festival is an ultimate intergalactic robot with moves that can shake up a galaxy.
With a passion for all things music, performance and entertainment, Angela seeks to continually develop, create, and share her musical artistry with the world. Having started playing at a young age, Angela Smart has acquired years of experience both as a performer and teacher. In addition to her musical studies, Angela extensive training in classical ballet has given her a unique perspective on violin performance practice and technique which sets her apart from other musicians.
