Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour

Presenting Partners: Banff & Lake Louise, Rab

Brought to you by: Mountain Fever Productions

The World Tour immediately follows the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival in November, where a selection of top films submitted to the Festival go on a tour worldwide. The World Tour reaches over 550,000 audience members through more than 1100 screenings in 500 locations in 40 countries. From it's humble beginnings in Banff, Alberta, where a couple of filmmakers got together, it truly spans the globe- even including some years in Antarctica.

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be shown for three nights at the Sun Valley Opera House beginning Friday night, January 31st, Saturday night, February 1st, and Sunday night, February 2nd, 2025. Doors open at 6 pm, with films starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30 at the door.

This year a portion of the proceeds of the Banff Sun Valley shows will go to support the Rota-Rippers. A community supported, tuition-free learn to ski and snowboard program. Rota-Rippers is dedicated to offering 5 to 11 year old participants the opportunity to get out and discover the lifelong pursuit of winter recreation.

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival has made a yearly stop in the Ketchum / Sun Valley area for the last 25 years.  While most cities host only one night of films, Sun Valley audiences will have the opportunity to view over 20 films that the Banff Centre will offer this year. A full list of films will be released the first part of December of which will be listed at www.mountainfever.us.
