We've hit double digits... Bands!Bands!Bands! Volume 10 has arrived. Now let's welcome the bands who will be performing on June 18th.

FEATURING:

Baba Chaka
Baba Chaka are a six piece fusion ensemble, writing alternative rock with a foundation in jazz harmony. Formed while all members were attending the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Baba Chaka bring the energy and their eclectic grooves to every show!

Jesse Heinz
Jesse comes from Victoria. He’s a multi-instrumentalist, playing or singing most of the sounds you hear on his recordings. He's always loved guitar heavy songs of the 90's and wants to make finely crafted tracks with concise yet unusual compositions. Bands like Dinosaur Jr. and more current artists like Jeff Rosenstock inspire him to create not only catchy songs, but songs that deal with real issues. He's releasing his debut album this years and he hopes you'll join him on his musical journey!

High Dive
Highdive are a 3 piece alternative rock band inspired by grunge and new wave. The band is located in Victoria BC and is 2/3s Irish. The band’s first single “What’s my Motivation?” was released in 2023 and their debut full length is expected to follow in 2024.

Five Foot Nine
fivefootnine is five friends from Victoria BC crafting a propulsive yet vulnerable brand of indie rock. Their sound is influenced by artists like, Alvvays, Paramore, and The Beths. From within overdriven guitars, shimmery synths and sticky hooks, fivefootnine emerges at the sweet spot of self-awareness that can only come from being short.
