In Ballet Edmonton’s “Rising Tour”: New Canadian Choreographers Triple Bill, experience a daring evening of contemporary ballet by rising star Canadian choreographers Kirsten Wicklund, Ethan Colangelo, and Béatrice Larrivée. This triple bill features bold physicality, original sound design, and genre-defying movement. Three distinct voices. One unforgettable show. Witness dance like you’ve never seen it before.

Ballet Edmonton (BE) is a contemporary ballet company based in Edmonton, Alberta. We are a creation-based ensemble of company dancers under the leadership of Artistic Director Kirsten Wicklund. We commission original work each season from a variety of choreographic voices for our main stage performance series and touring. Our repertoire features new creations by nationally and internationally recognized and emerging choreographers with distinctive voices. Ballet Edmonton is committed to advancing the work of female and diverse creators to ensure our artistic product reflects the world in which we live. We contribute to the evolution of ballet by presenting new work that reimagines how ballet can be expressed.

Ticket Exchanges: Permitted up to 24 hours before the performance. If an event is canceled/rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund or exchange your tickets for another date/performance. Rescheduled Events: Tickets are valid for the new date. If you can’t attend, request a refund within 7 days of the rescheduling notice. Refunds will only be issued for event cancellations or rescheduling. For all other circumstances, ticket exchanges will be offered.
