Our mission is to create a truly liberated dance floor that becomes an incredible arena of 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒂𝒍 energy and creativity while giving voice and space to gay people in a way that ONLY we know how and can do. We are gay owned and operated and are here to create something in the city of Vancouver that uniquely caters to our specific needs and desires while celebrating our freedom of sexual expression as not only essential but fundamental to who we are. We make space for uncensored gay energy and accept all people from all communities who support this mission. 

We are excited to return to the incredible David Lam Ballroom, where we can embody an uncontested dancefloor that grants total freedom and love, a two level space with wild and intimate possibilities, a private and safe place complete with darkroom, intimate kinky spaces, and an exclusively independent courtyard free from the judging eyes of straight culture where everyone can be included as their most wild and fabulous self. In terms of set up, we are always changing in arrangement but also firm in our intention to build the party of our deviant homo fantasies where it gets better and better. Just remember to enter through the Backdoor because this Halloween party is made just for you, you sexy 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒂𝒍. Going til' the early morning! 

Dress up to the high heavens or take it all off down to the deepest depths of your dungeon desires. Whether you're a little angelic 𝒕𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒌 or a big 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 daddy, everyone is welcome into this sickening celestial palace of sin where the values of Halloween reign supreme: you can be whoever/whatever you want to be no matter how gay or outrageous. At Backdoor Halloween you are not just the star but the entire performance! This stage is built for you, this art is made for you, and this party is yours! So come dance your 𝒂𝒔𝒔 off to express yourself more freely than ever before, like your life depends on it, because it does! We are here for you to release that wild queer fairy you have caged inside of of you begging to be seen, loved, and 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅!!!
