Pickering College Art Exhibit and Wine Tasting

For the first time, Pickering College, in collaboration with Cowley Abbott Fine Art, is opening its doors to the public, showcasing an impressive art collection, including ten artworks by the esteemed Group of Seven member, Franz Johnston. 

🎨 Event Details: 

• Date: Thursday, February 29, 2024 
• Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 
• Location: Pickering College, 16945 Bayview Avenue, Newmarket 

🍷 What to Expect: 

• Enjoy a selection of complimentary wine and cheese while you discover the historic roots Pickering College has with the Group of Seven, Frederick Hagan, Leonard Brooks, Mary Schneider, Harold Haydon, Adeline Rockett and many more artists.
• A Senior Art Specialist from Cowley Abbott will be on hand to discuss and answer questions on the collection. They will have a selection of prominent Canadian works of art on display, an exclusive, early preview for their upcoming major spring auction. 

🎟️ Ticket Information: 

• Cost: $45 per person (students and children attend for free with a paying adult) 
• Proceeds: All proceeds will contribute to the expansion of technology in Pickering College’s art programs.
