The Art of Piano: Victor Paukstelis in Recital

June 21 – 4:00 PM

Music Niagara proudly presents internationally acclaimed pianist Victor Paukstelis in a captivating recital celebrating the expressive beauty and artistry of the piano—where art and music come together in perfect harmony.

Praised for his imaginative interpretations and refined musicality, Paukstelis brings depth, spontaneity, and emotional nuance to the classical repertoire. Critics have highlighted his impeccable sense of rhythm and finely shaped dynamic range, describing his performances as both intellectually engaging and deeply expressive. A graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and a former student of the École Normale de Musique de Paris, he has appeared at major festivals across Europe and North America and in world-renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Wiener Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, and Salle Cortot in Paris.

This special performance will also feature violinist Atis Bankas, Founder and Artistic Director of Music Niagara. Lithuanian-born Canadian violinist Atis Bankas has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, North America, and Asia, collaborating with leading orchestras and distinguished conductors. A longtime member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, he is widely recognized for his brilliant technique, warm tone, and profound musicianship. In addition to his performing career, Bankas is a dedicated educator at The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School and Taylor Academy in Toronto.

Together, Victor Paukstelis and Atis Bankas will create a memorable musical dialogue that highlights artistry, imagination, and the expressive power of the piano and violin.

An elegant and inspiring celebration of art in music—live with Music Niagara.
