“Left Behind examines how we construct truth, meaning, and identity within an increasingly unstable post-truth world. Drawing from the artist's relationship with her religious parents, the work explores how biblical literalism, conspiracy thinking, and apocalyptic belief can function as frameworks for making sense of uncertainty and change. Through painting, sculpture, video, and immersive installation, Left Behind investigates the ways personal realities are built, and how conflicting versions of truth can reshape family relationships.”
