Now in its eighth season, the Atlantic Repertory Company (ARC) is launching its very first 3-Show Subscription Series. This milestone marks ARC’s continued growth as a professional theatre company, bringing acclaimed Canadian and international works to local audiences. The inaugural lineup—Billy Bishop Goes to War, Ghost Light, and The Master Builder—takes the stage at the BMO Studio Theatre.

BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR (December 2 - 7)

Book, music and lyrics by John MacLachlan Gray in collaboration with Eric Peterson.

GHOST LIGHT (January 28 - 31)

Written and performed by Shawn Wright.

A powerful one-man show that shines with heart, humour, and hometown roots! Both written and performed by Wright, the play is a deeply personal tribute to his late mother, Regina, whose love of theatre shaped his life. Through vivid storytelling, Wright brings to life childhood memories, family tales, and the enduring bond between mother and son. Set against the backdrop of growing up in New Brunswick as the youngest of seven, Ghost Light is a moving celebration of love, laughter, and legacy.

 

THE MASTER BUILDER (April 21 - April 26)

By Henrik Ibsen. Directed by Richard Rose and featuring R.H. Thomson.

A sharp, psychological drama where power, passion, and the past collide! In Henrik Ibsen’s The Master Builder, an aging architect’s fears and past promises unravel his carefully built world.
