The Calgary Black Chambers and Heritage Park are partnering to host a fundraising event in support of the Calgary Black Chambers Scholarship Fund. The fund elevates Black students through scholarships, recognition and financial support.

Enjoy your evening while celebrating Black excellence, showcasing Black talent in music and art, fundraising through phenomenal live auction items, great food inspired by Black history, with great people. Tickets include a 3 course meal, welcome appetizers, 2 complimentary drink tickets, a chance to win a door prize including a Heritage Park and Calgary Black Chambers experience and an evening filled with fun!

In its second year being held at Heritage Park, The Annual Black History Month Dinner is a truly amazing opportunity, whether it be as a company outing or a night out with family and friends, to celebrate and recognize Black History Month while supporting local Black youth scholarships.

About Calgary Black Chambers

Calgary Black Chambers (CBC) is a not-for-profit organization looking to increase Black leadership capacity and uplift Black culture throughout Calgary by community volunteering and providing scholarships for our future generations.

The CBC forges opportunities for Black professionals to further their professional development and give back to our community in several impactful ways:

Mentorship Program: designed to help build confidence in Black students and young professionals.

Scholarship Program: elevating Black students through scholarships, recognition and financial support.

Advocacy: Our overall goal is to eliminate systemic racism in Canadian society. In Calgary, our objectives are healthcare, education, and the safety & wellbeing of Black people.

Yes! You can purchase up to eight tickets per table, and indicate who you would like to sit with by answering a question at checkout.

How does attending The Annual Black History Month Dinner support Calgary Black Chambers and Heritage Park?

Funds raised at The Annual Black History Month Dinner will support the Calgary Black Chambers Scholarship Fund, elevating Black students through scholarships, recognition and financial support, and will allow Heritage Park to continue engaging audiences with immersive experiences and shared stories of Western Canada's diverse culture and heritage.

Do Heritage Club members or Annual Membership holders receive a discount for this event?

Because this is a fundraising event, discounts will not be available.

 

Is parking available at Heritage Park?

Parking kiosks are located in the middle of the parking lot and in Heritage Plaza. If you’re an Escape Annual Membership holder, or a 60th Anniversary Membership holder with parking added on to your membership, parking at Heritage Park is free!
