Sunday, July 3rd lez get your long weekend on and enjoy the queerest patio vibes with your friends at Container Brewing in East Vancouver. Head north on Clark and take a left at Franklin St. 

Container Brewing has both indoor seating and a huge outdoor patio where we will have lawn games, chill spaces and a dance floor set up. BURDY food truck will be on site for snackies and food throughout the day. 🍟 🥡 

CONTAINER BREWING has 12 beers on tap and if beer isn't your thing, they've got cider 🧃, coffee ☕, soda 🥤 and Mad Lab whisky 🥃 as well. 

This event is a collaboration with two trans icons in the city, Realboy and Vixen Von Flex 🏳️‍⚧️. We're so honoured to be able to partner with them again for this event and that they'll be spinning hot sets for us throughout the day.

But let's not forget about Rhythm of the Night co-creator Easy Bake Coven and Prism co-founder DJ Krista Mac who are going to be spinning sets as well.

Tickets: $15 + fees

Doors at 2pm, party winds down at 7:30pm. 

 

If you purchase a presale ticket, please ensure you arrive by 4pm to guarantee timely entry due to capacity. If you arrive after 4pm your ticket will still be honoured, but you may have to wait in line.

It's important to us that folks with financial barriers be able to access this event. Pay-what-you-can is available, no questions asked!! We recommend letting us know as soon as possible as we have a limited number of tickets reserved for the event. Realboy is an East Van-made bad boy QTPOC spinning the tracks that will get your blood pumping!! Who doesn’t love a libra in charge of the aux cord?? ✨ 

❣️ VIXEN VON FLEX ❣️

Vixen Von Flex is a vibrant Drag Performer, DJ and Burlesque/Circus powerhouse. Dazzling stages with their multifaceted skill set. It’s no doubt they will bend and twist their way into your hearts.

❣️ KRISTA MAC ❣️

DJ Krista Mac is a queer, feminist enby performer who loves to throw it back to classic songs throughout their sets. Based on the west coast in Vancouver, B.C., they have opened for artists such as The Funk Hunters, 2018 Eurovision Winner Netta, and TT The Artist. With a strong love for tropical and deep house, Krista Mac draws inspiration from large-scale festival performances to keep any crowd moving.

Prism aims to partner with QTBIPOC folks in the community to create safe and fun spaces for the Queer community. We welcome partnerships for the creation of upcoming events and are happy to contribute skills and knowledge to up and coming event promoters and artists.

Upcoming Alleyway Oasis editions will be held at a variety of venues across Vancouver.

Entrance to patio space is from Franklin Street and the inside bar area and patio space are both wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp to access the inside.
