Description
What happens when your childhood secrets, cringe-worthy crushes, and hilariously dramatic diary entries are brought to life on stage? Chaos. Pure, delightful chaos.
In All Grown Up, a cast of quick-thinking improvisors takes the audience’s real childhood memories, diary entries, embarrassing moments, weird poems, and over-the-top drama and transforms them into comedy gold. Whether it’s a confession about changing your MSN status to a lyric like “Lips of an Angel” just to get someone’s attention, plotting to ditch your younger sibling at Home Depot, or ranking yourself as the 9th prettiest in your grade, nothing is too silly or too heartfelt to become part of the show.
Bring your old journals, fill out a ballot, or just sit back and watch as your most awkward, painful, or downright ridiculous childhood moments get the over-the-top dramatic retelling they deserve but with way more laughs this time around.
Part therapy, part comedy, and 100% relatable, All Grown Up will have you laughing so hard you’ll be glad you didn’t write it down… but secretly wishing you did.
What is it?
All Grown Up is a traveling one-of-a-kind comedy show where your childhood memories become comedy gold. Our cast of quick-thinking improvisors takes real diary entries, poems, confessions, and embarrassing moments submitted by the audience and transforms them into laugh-out-loud scenes.
How it Works
YOU the audience bring in your journals, diarys, love letters or poems you wrote when you were a kid (think 14 & under) to the show and we will turn them into comedy gold. Never wrote anything down? Threw it all away out of embarressment? No worries we will also have ballots for you to fill out with a childhood memory, or just sit back and watch. All submissions are anonymous (unless you want to take credit for that 4th grade love poem).
Why You’ll Love It
Pure nostalgia: Relive the drama of your youth but with more laughs this time.
Audience-powered: No two shows are ever the same.
Therapy meets comedy: Cathartic, silly, and totally relatable.
