Alberta Game Jam 2025

September 26-28 @ Platform Innovation Center

Your Calgary Game Developers Association is proud to once again host the Calgary jam site at Platform Calgary.

What to expect:

• 📅 24/7 access all weekend long for your late night / early morning game dev. needs

• 🎯 Theme revealed at launch to zap you with creativity

• 🕹️ Option to build games playable on our custom-built arcade cabinets

• 🤝 Networking with other artists, musicians, and programmers to click with! 

• 🍕 Light, snacks to munch and crunch (lunch and breakfast snacks provided)

What's new??

• 🧑‍⚖️ Panel of special guest judges to select a winner

• 🚪🎁 Door prizes! We'll be giving away a couple of passes to the Royal Tyrell Museum during the games showcase on Sunday the 28th! 

What's to bring??

• 🖥️ Any equipment you need to contribute in your way.. whether that's a computer, a tablet, or pad of paper** 

• 🛏️ A Pillow / Sleeping bag if you intend on spending the night

Rough Schedule

3:00pm - Check-in
6:00pm - Opening remarks & Theme reveal

9am - breakfast snacks
1pm - lunches

3:30pm - Games due!
4:00pm - Public showcase on the Platform Pitch Stage (No tickets required to attend this!)
6:00pm - That's all folks! Time to go home
