• Getting to Heritage Park on Alberta Day: Parking is very limited on Alberta Day, we strongly recommend taking transit. A free shuttle will run between Anderson Station and the Park throughout the day. Click here for transit and shuttle details.

Midway Ride bracelets are required to ride the Antique Midway on Alberta Day. Ride bracelets are available for purchase online only. There is a limit of four Midway ride bracelets per online transaction.

• Bracelet Pick-Up: Once purchased, pick-up your bracelet(s) on-site by showing proof of purchase at the Guest Services Tent in Celebration Field.
• Members and Heritage Club VIPs: FREE for Annual Members and Heritage Club VIPs. Show your Membership card at the Guest Services Tent in Celebration Field to pick-up your bracelet(s). Midway ride bracelets are available while supplies last.
• Antique Midway Hours of Operation: Catch your thrills from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.!*
• Canoo Tickets: Canoo tickets do not include Antique Midway Ride Bracelets or S.S. Moyie tickets. Canoo members must purchase these seperately.

Midway Height Restrictions

Baby Ferris Wheel: Riders must be 36 inches to 48 inches tall

Bowness Carousel: Riders under 42 inches tall must ride on the inside horses on the carousel. Adults must hold infants who go on the carousel.

The Whip: Riders must be taller than 32 inches. Riders who are 32 - 48 inches tall must be accompanied by a rider taller than 48 inches.

The Caterpillar: Riders must be taller than 32 inches. Riders who are 32 - 48 inches tall must be accompanied by a rider taller than 48 inches.

The Dangler Swings: Riders must be 42 inches or taller.

Big Eli Ferris Wheel: Riders must be at least 36 inches tall. Riders who are between 36 - 48 inches tall must be accompanied by someone taller than 48 inches.

*Rides may take quick pit stops to keep the fun rolling safely. 

Get tickets for a S.S. Moyie sailing on Alberta Day. Tickets for timed S.S. Moyie sailings are only available for online purchase. There is a limit of 4 tickets per online transaction.

• Annual Members and Heritage Club VIPs: Cruises aboard the S.S. Moyie are complimentary for Annual Members and Heritage Club VIPs on Alberta Day, however an advance booking is required. To reserve your complimentary ticket, contact Guest Services at 403.268.8500 before Alberta Day.
• Departure Location: S.S. Moyie dock, located behind Shepard Station inside Heritage Park
• S.S. Moyie Hours of Operation: The Moyie departs every 35 minutes from 10:35 a.m. - 7:20 p.m.

Know Before You Go

• Online Purchase Only: Tickets are available for purchase online only and must be reserved in advance. If you haven’t purchased in advance, you may scan a QR code on-site to purchase tickets for a remaining sailing time if they are available.
• Limited Capacity: Space is limited for each sailing. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred departure time.
• Timed Entry: Each ticket is valid for one specific sailing time. Please double-check your selection before completing your purchase.
• Check-In: When you arrive to the dock, you'll be asked to show proof of purchase. Please have it ready.
• Arrive Early: Plan to arrive at the Moyie dock at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. It takes approximately 20–25 minutes to walk from Heritage Park’s front gate to the Moyie dock, located behind Shepard Station.
• If You're On Time for Your Sailing: Volunteers will direct you to the boarding line when it’s time to depart.
• If You're Too Early for Your Sailing: You may be asked to return closer to your scheduled departure time.
• If You Miss Your Sailing: We may be able to accommodate you for a later sailing, but boarding is not guaranteed and is subject to available capacity.
• Canoo Tickets: Canoo tickets do not include Antique Midway Ride Bracelets or S.S. Moyie tickets. Canoo members must purchase these seperately.
