All Candidates Air Hockey Tournament. " All Office. No Politics"

With all the divisiveness in politics, The Common thought it would be fun to show the world how politics is fought in Canada - on an air hockey table! 

This is a by donation event. All proceeds go to the Howe Sound Women's Shelter. Donate at checkout or on the night (cash).

Are you tired of all the politics in politics?! Do you want to learn about the personalities behind the political campaigns, not just their policies? 

 

Come ask some really serious and hard hitting questions to the candidates like: 

🤷‍♀️Which rock band would you like to be in? 
🤷‍♀️What do you think is the greatest invention of all time?
🤷‍♀️Who was the real hero in Batman and Robin?
🤷‍♀️If you are elected, who would be on your dream team - Justin Trudeau, Stephen Harper, Édouard Philippe, Margaret Thatcher, Donald Trump, Angela Merkel? 
🤷‍♀️Would you support a plan to send Trump to Space?
🤷‍♀️What's your favourite book?

Candidates will play in teams, for a series of fast paced short matches. There will be post match questions which will be streamed live, so that everyone in Squamish and the rest of the world can watch candidates battle it out on the ice - or thin air! 

This is a fundraiser for Howe Sound Women's Centre Society.

Why "All Office. No Politics"?
We've realised one of the great things about a co-working space is that you can leave the politics at work. If you have a problem or challenge at work you can ask other people their opinions and get a different perspective. 

We don't believe politics mix with business, but for a good cause we're willing to break the campaign rules ;)
