About the Film

After Hours (1985)

In a Manhattan cafe, word processor Paul Hackett meets and talks literature with Marcy. Later that night, Paul takes a cab to Marcy's downtown apartment. His $20 bill flying out the window during the ride portends the unexpected night he has. He cannot pay for the ride and finds himself in a series of awkward, surreal and life-threatening situations with a colorful cast of characters. He spends the rest of the night trying to return uptown.

Becoming The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland

On May 2, 2024, Fort Calgary changed its name to The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland.

Under this new name, we are freer to expand the narrative of this place to encompass the many diverse histories of the land. Stories of the North-West Mounted Police and Fort Calgary help to define this place, but there are other important stories to be told, too. At The Confluence, storytelling is liberated and history is an open and welcoming book.
