Description

AFRICAN MUSICIANS AND DANCERS SHARE THEIR CULTURE WITH YOU!

Come discover our games, and learn new drum and dance traditions from Africa! We take you on a cultural and educational journey across the continent of the Mother Culture.

Games are equally entertaining, educational and culturally significant. The connection between playing and learning has been well established through countless research. When it comes to culture, we can gain valuable insight into the value system and way of life of African people by playing their traditional games. This is an opportunity to come together in friendship, play together and celebrate our rich diversity.

AFRICA welcomes you in this inclusive village at the Russian Hall, from 10 am to 5 pm both days! Open to all ages and all dance and drumming experience.

***For tickets to TRIO AFRICA fundraising dinner-concert, please go HERE.
