Some bands treat each album as a leap into the unknown. Others evolve through a steady, deliberate expansion of their sound. The Icelandic collective ADHD belongs firmly to the latter.
Describing their live performance in conventional musical terms is nearly impossible. When these four musicians take the stage, the result is immersive and elemental - part ritual, part sonic storm. Their music feels both ancient and immediate, drawing on deep creative reserves that speak to Iceland’s stark landscapes and long winters. The energy they generate is self-sustaining, raw, and electrifying.
ADHD’s sound defies genre boundaries, captivating jazz listeners, rock fans, and adventurous audiences alike. Their music taps into something primal and wordless - older than language, yet fully rooted in the present moment. Expansive, fearless, and intensely imaginative, their performances are less a concert and more a total experience.
ADHD can’t truly be captured in words. It’s something you have to witness.
