About Adam Calhoun:

Adam Bradley Calhoun (born September 5, 1980, in Chicago, Illinois) is an American country‑rap rapper, singer, songwriter, comedian, and YouTube personality. He emerged on the scene in 2017, collaborating with country‑rap artist Chris Hosier on the single “Salute the Brave” and the album Made in America, which reached No. 46 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart

In 2018, Calhoun launched his solo career with AmerAcal and followed it later that year with The Throne, both independently released. His music is known for its unapologetic, working‑class themes—touching on patriotism, politics, blue‑collar life, and culture wars. Tracks such as “Racism” (from The Throne) and “Back N Forth” (a collaboration with Upchurch) sparked controversy and led to some canceled concerts due to protests.

He continued to raise his profile with albums like War (2019), which ranked as the second‑best‑selling country album and third‑best‑selling rap album of its week, and collaborative projects: Crazy White Boy (2019, with Demun Jones), Hooligan (2019, with Upchurch), Legend (2020, with Struggle Jennings), and The Brave (2022, with Tom MacDonald), which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales with 16,000 units sold. They followed it up with The Brave II in 2023.
