The Grindstone Comedy Fest presents a one hour performance of Stand Up Comedy featuring headliner Abbas Wahab with Eric Andrews, Nick McQuick, and Jules Balluffi. 

Abbas Wahab

Abbas Wahab is a Canadian comedian and actor. He's been featured on Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy, and Edinburgh Fringe festivals. Wahab has appeared in such TV shows as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Boys, What We Do In The Shadows, and The Handmaid's Tale. Abbas will be making his feature film debut in M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming big-budget thriller, Trap. He has garnered a loyal online following of over 90k users on Instagram and 200k on TikTok. He's most well known for his viral "job interview" and "marketing team" series, which parody the hiring and advertising processes of popular companies.

Despite Eric’s shy and awkward demeanor, he's unnervingly funny. You sometimes won't know what's happening but you'll laugh anyway. Growing up an only child, raised by just his Mother, compiled with the absence of his Father and friends has added to his somewhat unique perspective. This perspective has garnered him recognition in the comedy world, being crowned SirusXM's Next top comic, winning a Canadian Comedy Award, and winning Best Comedy with his most recent one man show at the Toronto Fringe festival.

Jules Balluffi

Jules Balluffi is a rising star in the Edmonton comedy scene. Originally from New York, Jules

moved to Alberta for graduate school and stumbled into stand up shortly thereafter. She charms

audiences with a mixture of observational humour and story telling that is equal parts silly and

witty.
