A Time in the Old Hall with From Stage to Stage and Sherman Downey

The Christmas variety concert has long been a highly anticipated event on the social calendar of communities both large and small. For generations, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians of all ages have been gathering in community halls to take the stage to sing of the season or “say their piece”.

Now after a year’s hiatus, the group that has helped keep the Newfoundland recitation a part of our lives gets back together with one of our finest songwriters. Sherman Downey along with From Stage to Stage’s Dave Paddon, Harry Ingram, and Dave Penny along with Sherman  Downey will bring a full repertoire of seasonal material to the LSPU Hall stage.
