Alessandro Votta was born and raised close to Rome (Italy).

His love for music started very early, listening for hours to his dad playing every kind of music with his 12-string guitar or his organ. Alessandro has been an avid Elvis fan since the early 80’s, when his brother bought a cassette tape with the early rock’n’roll songs on Side A, and the 70’s ballads on Side B.

Working in the Oil & Gas industry, he has travelled the world before finally settling in Calgary with his beautiful family in 2012. Since visiting Memphis in March 2019, all the puzzle pieces came together: the 1963 Cadillac, first jumpsuits, first Elvis tribute gigs!

Alessandro has performed in multiple provinces in Canada, in Cuba and in the USA. Alessandro has appeared on Global TV and on multiple local newspapers in Canada. Alessandro has started competing in 2022 and he has already won the following awards: First place Elvis Non-Pro Category at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; Kevin Dorion Award at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; TJ Jackson Spirit Of Elvis award at the 2022 Elvis Festival in Tweed, Ontario. He has reached the finals at the following Festivals: 2022 and 2023 Penticton BC Elvis Festival, 2022 Tweed ON Elvis Festival, 2022 Flaming Star Festival in Toronto ON, all in the non-Pro category.

Alessandro at home has created a tribute to Elvis' Graceland jungle room and media room, one of the few ETAs around the globe, if not the first one, to do so. 

His goals while performing are to have fun, to challenge himself and to be able to transmit to the audience his unconditional love and passion for Elvis, the amazing entertainer and human being.
