96th Running of the Canadian Derby

Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is proud to present the 96th Running of the Canadian Derby on Saturday, August 23!

Join us as we continue the tradition and celebrate some of the best horse racing in Western Canada with an afternoon of excitement, entertainment, fashion and more! First race will be 4:45pm. Gates open at 3:00pm!

• Finish Line Restaurant - Table of 4 - Limited availability
• Finish Line Restaurant - Table of 6 - Limited availability
  All tickets include a racing program and $5 in free slot play

• $100,000 Dale "The Colonel" Saunders Speed To Spare Championship 
• $100,000 Century Casino Oaks 
• $200,000 Canadian Derby 

General Information:

• General admission under the age of 18 is free. Limited seating available. 
• All tickets include $5 in free slot play which can be redeemed at the slot cage (18+) 
• Outdoor apron and Finish Line Restaurant are open to all ages 
• No minors permitted inside the casino 
• Casino is open from 9:30am to 4:00am
• Shuttle services will be available. Additional information provided at a later date 
• No outside food and beverage permitted  
• No outside chairs permitted
• Number of Races/length of the day will be determined the Monday or Tuesday prior to the Canadian Derby
• Alcohol Service time on the apron will end at the beginning of the last race
• Live music from The Rule of Nines in the casino lounge after live racing!
