What happens when a conservative English antique book seller corresponds with an assertive, some people would say brash, female writer from New York? Join us to find out and let yourself be transported to the aftermath of World War II all the way to The Beatles’ Abbey Road.

With its twenty years of correspondence, 84 Charing Cross Road will take you through a whirlwind of emotions. This play, based on a book by Helene Hanff, begs the question “What if we could mend division, even in this polarized and volatile world of ours, with one friendly relationship at a time?”

Parts read by Honor Sylvester, James Finan, Nelia Amaro, Lisa Eastwood and Liam Amaro. Directed by Francine Bélanger and Produced by Valerie Russell.

For tickets sold through the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre, the Capitol Theatre, and The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall, refunds and exchanges are at the discretion of the respective box offices.
