The Stan Rogers Folk Festival has grown to seven days, and it all kicks off with the Roadshow! A three-day, ten-show celebration, taking part in seven amazing communities across Guysborough County. Featuring artists from across the globe, the Stanfest Roadshow is the perfect reason to come early and stay longer! 

July 20

Sacred Steel-The Lee Boys. 

Get ready to experience soul and gospel music like you’ve never heard before. The Lee Boys bring their Sacred Steel to St. Paul’s United Church for an electrifying evening of music, smiles, and good company! St. Paul’s United Church, Canso. 


A Matter of Heart-Beth Rogers and cast. 

Beth Rogers brings a stellar cast and band to celebrate her father’s legacy through song. The new Mulgrave Road Theater provides the perfect backdrop for an evening celebrating all that is Stan Rogers. Mulgrave Road Theater, Guysborough 

 

Live From the Lodge!-Kim Dunn and Terra Spencer.

Field Notes-Mark Lang and Dave Gunning.

When Mark Lang offered Dave Gunning a chance to record his latest album in Australia, Gunning jumped at the chance and booked a flight down under. Hear the rest in their own words as they tell the stories behind those songs and more. This promises to be a unique, can’t-miss evening. The Gun Club, Country Harbour

General Admission Tickets

Click on “Buy Tickets” to see the full inventory for earlybird weekend passes, day passes, Thursday, and the Roadshow event. To start, select the Earlybird Pass, which includes access to concerts from Friday through the weekend. Thursday is not included in the Earlybird Pass, so you’ll need to purchase Thursday tickets separately, along with Thursday camping. Thursday passes will be available soon, once plans for our 30th anniversary are finalized.

The weekend pass provides general admission to all stages and shows from Friday until Monday, but Thursday tickets and camping are sold separately. Earlybird passes cover concert access only, and camping must be purchased separately if you plan to stay on-site.

Please note that Thursday general admission passes are not yet available but are expected to be released by Christmas.

Weekend Camping Passes

Weekend Camping

Our weekend camping pass covers the full weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Stay as long as you like!

Note: Your camping pass is separate from your concert general admission tickets.

Only weekend ticket holders can camp in our campground, with one exception: Thursday-only camping is available for those attending just the Thursday Roar Back Concert.

Planning to attend Thursday and the weekend? Simply add your campsite and include the extra night for Thursday, you’ll have camping for all four nights!

 

Thursday Camping & The Roar Back Concert

Thursday is extra, camp just for the night and enjoy the Roar Back Concert, or stay Thursday and the weekend. Heck, stay for the full week! Monday to Wednesday camping is free, so arrive early and soak it all in!

We’ve got RV and tenting spots available, along with full shower and washroom facilities. For all the details and FAQs, check out our website. Refunds until July 1st.


Thursday Night: The Roar Back Concert

Please note that Thursday General Admission passes are not yet available but are expected to be released by Christmas.

Thursday night officially kicks off Stanfest weekend with our Roar Back Concert—a night to celebrate the start of the festival in style. This is always a packed, unforgettable show and the perfect way to launch a weekend full of music, laughter, and connection.

Thursday is an extra ticketed event and is not included in the regular weekend pass. Past performances have included Alan Doyle, our Bruce Guthro tribute “The Circle Continues,” and in 2025, a John Prine tribute featuring Jason Wilbur, Adam Baldwin, Mary Gauthier, Matt Andersen, and Mick Davis.
