2026 Young Choreographers in Concert

Senior dance students will be showcasing their choreography skills in the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts' annual Young Choreographers in Concert event taking place April 10 & 11, 2026. 

Evening performances April 10 & 11 at 7 PM, matinee performance April 11 at 2 PM.  Tickets are $8-$12 and available for purchase at CharterArts.org.

SEATING NOTES:  Please note that seating marked as "Orch" is orchestra seating close to the stage.  Seating marked as "Top" is at the back of the theater.  "Side" seating are balconies with slightly obstructed view. Please note that there is a small aisle that goes down the center of orchestra seating section between seats #8 and #9.

This annual concert is the culminating event, or final exam, for the Senior Dance Composition course. Each senior student creates original choreography that is cohesively inspired by a theme of their choosing and sets their work on their peers. 

Concert co-director, Amy Berry says, "YCC is an invaluable opportunity for students to find their creative selves and to see an artistic process through from conception to the stage. A physical and visual expression of the students' inner feeling and interests that is always an exciting and entertaining surprise to watch!"
