2026 CAT Awards

 

This year's event will be held at MacEwan Hall with general admission seating.  There will be a reception both before and after the event at MacEwan Hall.  Public paid parking is available on the University campus.

As a reminder, all nominees, presenters and performers must buy a ticket to the event.

 

A note on the theme:
For one evening each year, our theatre community becomes a living museum. One that celebrates the artists, storytellers, and creators who make our stages come to life. Inspired by this idea, we chose this year's theme "A Night at the Museum" to invite you all to the grand opening of the latest one-night-only exhibit: us.

This year's theme invites creative interpretation, so let the many worlds of museums and collections inspire your attire. Whether rooted in art, history, culture, fashion, science, or the natural world, it's your chance to make it your own. We can't wait to see the unique ways you bring this exhibition to life. However you choose to interpret the theme, we encourage creativity, individuality, and just the right touch of gala elegance.
