Description
About the Concert:
This classical concert combines the two master pieces:
Conor Stuart's performance of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 is a commanding and emotionally vivid interpretation of one of the most celebrated violin concertos in the classical repertoire. From the first vibrant, sweeping notes of the concerto, Conor immerses the listener in the work’s brilliance, passion, and technical intricacies.
Richard He, the pianist, delivers an emotionally charged and technically masterful performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18. The concerto, one of the most beloved and virtuosic works in the piano repertoire, opens with the famous lyrical theme in the strings, which gradually builds in intensity and grandeur.
