Golf & Tacos Calgary is excited to host the 3rd Annual Pumpkin Spice Classic presented by Full Wedge Golf!

The Pumpkin Spice Classic has quickly become THE undisputed favourite event of the Golf & Tacos social calendar...possibly because it has become the only social event on the calendar, but mostly because the vibes are crazy high and it is an iconic way to wrap up golf season.

FORMAT
Our only "competitive" event of the season, the 2024 Pumpkin Spice Classic presented by Full Wedge Golf will once again be an 18 hole two-person scramble. We have opened up more spots and are aiming for a shotgun start, however, if registration does not meet the threshold we will run rolling tee times. This change to format may impact the schedule, all changes will be emailed out prior to the event. 

LOCATION
This year, we're packing up the ol' Bust Loose Party Bus and hitting the highway for a road trip to the luscious Water Valley Golf Club. Self described as "Alberta's jewel, nestled amid the majestic foothills of the County of Mountain View, where the Canadian Rockies paint the horizon with grandeur, a semi-private oasis whispering secrets of challenge and serenity." Sweet. 

OPEN TO ALL GOLF GALS
From current lesson participants to our Golf & Tacos alumni, Golf & Tacos gals from other cities, and any literally any golf gals in the area looking for a killer day on the golf course. 

SPICY LEVEL RECOMMENDATION (Learn More)
While we love all of our golfers, this event is best suited for our Medium/Hot/Spicy golfers who are comfortable playing 18 holes and can maintain pace of play on a full length golf course (red tees).

Golfers that fall behind pace may be asked by a coach, staff or volunteer to catch-up to the group ahead within a reasonable time frame. FYI We're super reasonable. Rude or abusive language will not be tolerated and you'll be sent straight to Golf & Tacos jail. More details on that can be found in our Code of Conduct.

• 10:15 a.m. - Check-in Opens at Golf Future (latest arrival by 10:40 a.m.)
• 11:00 a.m. - Party Bus Departs Golf Future
• 10:00 p.m. - Party Bus Arrives at Golf Future* 

Departure Location B: Valley Ridge GC (11618 Valley Ridge Park NW)

• 10:30 a.m. - Check-in Opens at Valley Ridge GC (latest arrival by 10:50 a.m.)
• 11:15 a.m. - Party Bus Departs Valley Ridge GC
• 9:45 p.m. - Party Bus Arrives at Valley Ridge GC*

Arrival at Water Valley Golf Club

• 12:30 p.m. - Arrival at Water Valley Golf Club 
• 12:30 - 1:50 p.m. - Box Lunch, Margarita Mingles, Putting Contest, Warm-Up
• 1:50 p.m. - Golfers Ready! (Must be in carts ready to head out to holes)
• 2:00 p.m. - Shotgun Start 
• 7:30 p.m. - Après Taco Dinner & Awards 
• 8:30 p.m. - Party Bus Departs for Calgary 

*NOTE: Arrival at Valley Ridge GC and Golf Future at end of the event may be later than listed if tournament play exceeds 5.5 hours. Please anticipate possible delays and plan your evening &/or safe rides home accordingly.

A NOTE ON DRESS CODE AND THEME

We hope you'll have a little fun with the events and dig out some 'dress code approved' fits (no denim, rips, crop tops, or spaghetti straps). Otherwise, have fun, bring the party vibes, and let's close out the season with a 10/10 day on the course. Pumpkin Spice Classic themed team outfits  encouraged and rewarded. Demure vs Brat. Have at 'er.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

This event and Showpass fees are non-refundable. You're on the hook for your ticket. If we have a waitlist we'll do our best to facilitate a swap for you, however, Golf & Tacos Calgary is a small business that must commit numbers to the golf course in order to make our events work and we do not guarantee filling your spot. You can transfer your ticket up to 72 hours in advance, new golfer information MUST be provided by 10:15 a.m. on September 11, 2024. Showpass fees are non-refundable and purchaser will not be reimbursed these fees if a refund is requested and approved. Thank you for your understanding.
