Description
Join us along the banks of the Petitcodiac River for the 18th annual Greater Moncton Highland Games!
Our main event is Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Hal Betts Sportsplex (250 Assomption Blvd, Moncton).
Visit the petting zoo with Highland cows, sign up for the 5KM Tartan Run, watch the dancers, pipers, drummers, swordfighters, blacksmith, spinners, weavers, sheep herders and shearers, and enjoy wagon rides, bouncy castles, and more fun for the whole family.
FREE WEEKNIGHT EVENTS: Join us 7pm Tuesday night in Moncton's Victoria Park and 7pm Wednesday night in Riverview's Gazebo on the Riverfront for community concerts - free for all to enjoy!
Saturday gates open at 8am; most competitions start at 9am, with vendors & demonstrations all underway by 10am. Massed Bands and Closing Ceremonies scheduled for 5:30pm, followed by music in the Ceilidh Tent until 9pm. (For competition information, please visit our website.)
Admission is $10/person, with children 12 & under free. You can purchase your ticket in advance or pay at the Gate. Please bring a copy (paper or screenshot on your phone) of your ticket confirmation if you choose to purchase in advance.
The Games are a rain or shine event! Please note: there is a no on-site parking. There are a limited number of accessible spaces available, first come first served. There is an area to drop off passengers at the Main Gate, and bike racks are available at both the Main and East Gates. Those individuals parking in downtown lots may wish to access the site via the East Gate, off the Riverfront Trail.
