2024 Festa Junina Matinee: 4-7 pm

June Party! This is a folk party, a typical Brazilian cultural event to celebrate the harvest in Brazil. It happens during June everywhere in Brazil, and anywhere else Brazilians can gather for the occasion, including here in Calgary along with Canadians Friends of Brazil!

Our cultural program includes Brazilian Live music with NETO's Forró trio, a local group, and MENI Forró Band from Vancouver "Forró”, and also “QUADRILHA” which presents some similarities to the square style of dance from Western North America.

*everyone attending needs a ticket
