Ladies and gentlemen, pickleball enthusiasts, and supporters of the Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL), welcome to the second event of CNPL season two – the CNPL Central Split! We are thrilled to continue our journey at the beautiful W. F. Mitchell Athletics Centre At the University of Guelph, Ontario.

We are back for the second year in a row in Guelph, this time in co-operation with Canada's largest multi-sport festival, the GOOD Games.

Date: July 6-7, 2024

Times: 10:00AM - 8:30PM Saturday, 10:00AM - 7:00PM Sunday.

Location: W.F. Mitchell Athletics Centre, Guelph, ON

Overview: For those new to our league, let me introduce you to the format of our events. The CNPL Split events will feature our esteemed eight teams from across the nation engaging in a thrilling round-robin team competition. This format promises intense matches as each team faces off against the others in a battle for supremacy on the pickleball court.

Within these teams are the heart and soul of our league – 48 talented players, each ready to showcase their skills, determination, and passion for the game. From seasoned veterans to rising stars, the CNPL boasts a diverse roster of athletes who embody the spirit of competition and sportsmanship.

Highlights:

• Competition at Its Peak: Three courts of thrilling team pickleball action will feature teams and players from the furthest corners of Canada.

• Epic Festival: In addition to the on court action come and watch the GOOD Games, Canada's largest festival of sport around the entire University of Guelph campus.

• Community Engagement: Join fellow pickleball enthusiasts, fans, and supporters in celebrating the sport's growth and witnessing the emergence of new talents within the league.

What to Expect:

1. Three courts hosting up to 7 matches per day each of intense team pickleball.
2. Scoring format where every rally counts a point.
3. Intense competition, camaraderie, and the chance to make a lasting impression.
