IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Know Before You Go

Thanks for your support of the Windy City Open. All spectators will be required to follow the guidelines below to help keep everyone healthy.

PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED

All guests age 5 and over must adhere to the City of Chicago’s current Vaccine Requirements by showing proof of full vaccination to enter the University Club. Guests 16 and over must also show matching identification.

STEP-BY-STEP ENTRY PROCESS

Guests will provide their proof of vaccination and matching identification in the lobby’s vaccination verification station. If you will be at the tournament on multiple days, please request a proof of vaccination card from the staff at the station. This card can be used throughout the event.

MANDATORY MASK POLICY

All guests entering the University Club over the age of two are required to wear a face mask that completely covers their nose and mouth. Masks must be worn while inside the Club except when actively eating or drinking.

COAT CHECK and BAG POLICY

Please check your coat in the lobby. Guests may enter the arena with a small purse or personal bag up to 10” x 6” x 2“ in size. Backpacks are prohibited. Limited exceptions for medical or diaper bags will be allowed.

THE VENUE

Cathedral Hall’s 25’ high ceilings allow for great air circulation. The room’s air exchange system exceeds city code’s required fresh air exchange rate

Accessible hand sanitation stations

A track record of safety. The Club safely hosted the PSA Squash World Championships in July 2021.

The 2022 Windy City Open offers the biggest prize money purse ($500,000—prize money parity for men and women) on the Professional Squash Association World Series International Tour. All the top men and women professionals in the world will be vying for this prestigious title in the iconic and intimate Cathedral Hall at the University Club of Chicago from February 23 - March 2. Seating is limited so sign up today for your tickets or patron package.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available in the Grant Park North Garage right in front of the club on Michigan Ave. Validated Parking is available for purchase at the Front Desk in the lobby of the club for $17.
