Where is the Red Bull Joyride VIP Pass zone located?
The Red Bull Joyride VIP Pass zone is adjacent to the large scaffolding tower in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park boneyard. To access this area please proceed partway up the gravel/dirt access road which is located on the left-hand side of Whistler Mountain’s base. Please follow the event signage.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is an all-ages event! However, minors must be accompanied by a guardian aged 19 or older. Two pieces of ID are required to consume alcoholic beverages. Each pass holder will receive two drink tokens and these can be used for your choice of either alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Do children need a ticket to attend the event?
Children aged four and under will be granted free access to the event. Children five+ are required to have their own Gold Pass in order to access the venue. Please note, only one child under the age of five per one paying adult will be permitted. Please contact us directly if you have further questions regarding access for children.

What can I bring into the event?
Small bags and backpacks are permitted in the venue but will be checked by security at the entrance. Please leave your pets and outside alcohol at home.

Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?
It’s up to you! We’d prefer to save some trees but if you’d prefer to print your ticket, that works too. When you arrive, we’ll scan your QR code individually to provide access to the Red Bull Joyride VIP Pass Zone. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folders for your Showpass ticket confirmation and receipt.

How accessible is the venue?
The Red Bull Joyride VIP Pass zone is located in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park’s “Boneyard”. Access is by foot via a dirt/gravel road. The venue entrance is a short walk up the Whistler Mountain Access Road which begins in the Gondola Transit Exchange bus loop at the base of Whistler Mountain. Will there be washroom facilities at the event?
Yes, portable toilets will be accessible at the venue.

What should I wear?
The Red Bull Joyride course is quite exposed to the elements. Hot sunny days mean hats, sunglasses and sunscreen, bring layers for the cooler weather and in all cases wear sturdy shoes. Also, note that there is no shade or cover provided at this outdoor venue.

Are umbrellas permitted?
To ensure each guest has the best possible view of the course umbrellas are not permitted.

Is there seating available inside the venue?
Come prepared to stand, sip, nibble and cheer. Seating is limited, but bleachers are available should you need it.

What parking is available in Whistler?
