The Canadian Epilepsy Research Initiative (CERI) will be holding a symposium on Friday, Sept 20, 2019, from 9:00 - 4:30 at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg, MB. This is being held in conjunction with the Canadian League Against Epilepsy 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting. 
We have a very exciting program of oral presentations from researchers across the country, with a special focus on trainees and early-career investigators. We will also feature a keynote lecture from Dr. Kurt Haas, University of British Columbia, entitled "Impact of early-life seizures on activity-dependent brain circuit formation".
