16th Annual SMS Equipment Wine Auction

You're invited to the Annual Wine Auction hosted by SMS Equipment on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in the Grand Ballroom at the SMS Equipment Place! This one-of-a-kind event kicks off the Wood Buffalo gala season in style, featuring thrilling entertainment, stunning decor, specialty refreshments created specifically for this evening, and - of course - a selection of wine and other beverages not usually found in our region.

This year's theme is Modern Renaissance - a bold and beautiful theme mixing elements of vibrant art and rich colours with interesting modern elements. It is a celebration of the growth of this event and Big Brothers Big Sisters over the decades, maintaining our rich history while adapting to the needs of our community.

The funds raised through the Wine Auction directly support BBBSWB’s free mentoring programs that help young people build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive. These programs include one‑to‑one matches and group‑based initiatives that connect youth with positive role models who inspire and empower them.
