A 100 Watt Production, Ottawa Ontario - 12 is an original theatre creation that gives voice to youth with regards to the Climate Crisis and the future they feel they have inherited. The script is built from writings/conversations with 11 teens, interviews they had with citizens of all ages of Ottawa, actual text from the international meeting, COP24 in Poland, words spoken by global youth activists such as Autumn Peltier, Greta Thunberg, Xuihtezcat Martinez and the Australian high school students who were told by their Prime Minister to be “less activist.” 12 is not a teen rant. It dares to ask questions, including to each other, of what it actually means to take action at the 11th hour.

Please note: Please arrive at the Museum 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the production.  Proof of vaccination for anyone aged 12 and up is required to access events in Ontario, including this performance. Please have your proof of vaccination or vaccination passport ready, as well as ID with your name and date of birth. All visitors will need to confirm they've read posted screening questions and provide contact tracing information for all members of your party.  All guests will have their hands stamped after this process.  Guests will then proceed to the appropriate venue where ushers will take your tickets and allow you to enter.
