Old Timey Horror Radio Satire in your ears: After a long hot summer of doing God Knows What, Phantom Signal is back with a brand new season of screams and dreams fresh out of the box! We've filed off the serial numbers on a host of never-before-heard tales of horror and emotional burden and we're ready to parade the goods for discerning live Vancouver audiences.

 

Information for newbs: Phantom Signal is an homage to old-timey, creaky old cobwebby old radio programs from days of yore. It’s a time of the hat to stories that got under your skin, and sent you to sleep with the lights on. Our program is performed live in front of a consenting audience, with all the trappings of the great studio anthologies of yestercentury. Embracing the innocent themes and broad strokes of early radio and marrying them to modern aesthetics necessarily creates a great deal of self-aware irony, but we try to keep that to an absolute minimum because everybody knows that cultural irony is the first symptom of a society in full decline.
