Raven Reid:
Saskatoon, SK based Indigenous folk singer-songwriter Raven Reid has transformed her personal journey of hardship and resilience into evocative music that speaks to the heart of the Indigenous experience in Canada. As a survivor of the 60’s Scoop, Reid's music captures the raw and emotional facets of her life growing up away from her biological family and community. By incorporating meaningful narratives into engaging performances Raven's music is not just a reflection of her past but a call to action and awareness.
