Description
Presenters: Eric Blouin & Samantha Rahn.
There’s a commonly held conception that Old World wines are subtle and complex, whereas New World wines are big and bold. But is this true, or is it based on the same cultural stereotype that pits Shakespeare and Da Vinci against Andy Warhol and Eminem? (No offense, Eminem…please don’t sue us.) Join Eric Blouin and Samantha Rahn for a fun and interactive blind tasting of 10 wines, half from the New World and half from the Old. Eric and Samantha will each defend one wine in the 5 single-varietal pairings (e.g. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir), and guests will judge for themselves in a side-by-side comparison. Then all the wines will be unmasked, and the startling truth will be revealed!
These wines will be revealed during the seminar.
