Description

Two sonic alchemists sharing alt-pop and indie-jazz/R&B musings about relationships and modern love.

When Ness Nöst and SIESKI first wrote together, they realized they shared the same ache: miscommunication, almost-love, and the charged space between what we feel and what we dare to say.

Ness brings indie-jazz/R&B warmth and slow-burn storytelling. SIESKI pulls you in with alluring vocals and ethereal, alt-pop melodies. Together, they collide in a lush, sonic world- part celestial, part confessional.

Their Burdock set blends both worlds: powerhouse vocals, evocative lyrics, and a new collab about the hardships of loving someone inaccessible.

Emotional, textural, darkly funny at times. Expect rich harmonies, immersive soundscapes, and two artists saying what often goes unsaid.

Ness Nöst
Ness Nost is a nomadic artist and producer splitting her life between the wild stillness of rural Ontario and the electric chaos of the city (Toronto.)

Her songs are built in a converted barn, where she produces genre-bending soundscapes that blur indie folk, alt-R&B, jazz, and experimental electronics into something intimate and volatile. Her work reflects the two worlds she moves through: storms of city noise against wide-open quiet, and her writing digs into identity, womanhood, desire, and the parts of ourselves we don’t always say out loud.

On stage she moves between her Casino guitar and AKAI MPC, carrying her restless, shape-shifting sound across Canada and recently to Japan as she enters a new era of bold, expansive production. Nost’s songs have been heard on CBC Radio, London SOHO Radio, in Exclaim! And RANGE Magazine.

SIESKI
Caught between the body’s truth and the mind’s wonder, SIESKI’s music reflects her inner world — deeply evocative and sensory, curious and intuitive, alive with imaginative charm. A queer theatre artist turned alt-pop siren, her alluring vocals and melodies absorb the listener in what Earmilk calls “an auditory odyssey that heightens your senses and leaves you with an insatiable craving for more.”

She is currently crafting her debut album Pixie, a body of work exploring sensitivity, connection, and the shifting landscapes of relationships. From the alt-pop panic of Coffee, to the unraveling tenderness of Untethered, to the soulful intimacy of her latest single Close, her releases trace an emotional journey between missing what was and embracing what is. Pixie expands this world further, weaving dreamy soundscapes with reflective storytelling rooted in queerness, vulnerability, and the soft places we land in relation to one another.

Highlights include her queer-femme anthem Lady Deity (featured in the Vizzybility Project curated by Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka), her FACTOR-funded music video Scale Model, and features on CTV’s etalk, CBC Music’s Afterdark, Telus Optik TV’s Dandyland Series, The Georgia Straight, Women In Music’s Shatter The Glass, and Exclaim!’s The Eh! List.
