Melanie Doane, songwriter and Juno award winning artist is so pleased to be back at Hugh’s Room to play with her band: Mike Borkosky, Creighton Doane, Damien Arokium and Dennis Mohammed for this now annual event in honour of Doane Music School.

For over 15 years Melanie has been developing her program and teaching in Toronto public schools to ensure that excellence in music education is available to ALL children. Between financial barriers and cuts from school boards the support for our next generation of Canadian musicians is becoming nonexistent.

With the help of her amazing team, this charitable organization is now providing excellent music programming to 1400 students each week and through fundraising will soon be able to add the many communities who are on the waiting list.

With special guests, plus all of Melanie’s fan favorite tunes she is very excited to see everyone on this special night of music. Saturday, January 10.
