Hilario Duran

Since arriving in Canada, Hilario Duran has made a name for himself. He is a multi-JUNO Award winner and nominee, an American Grammy nominee (2006 and 2024), a multi-Canadian National Jazz Award winner and nominee, and the proud recipient of the 2007 Chico O'Farrill Lifetime Achievement Award from Latin Jazz U.S.A. for his outstanding contributions to Afro-Cuban Jazz and Latin Jazz. In addition, he has been recognized as the winner in the Latin Jazz category of the Latin Awards Canada 2020, 6th Edition. Recently, Duran received special recognition for achievements in music from the City Council of Cleveland, Ohio. Hilario joins us for a special afternoon matinee on Sunday October 20 at 2pm.
