Hugh’s Room Live proudly presents Don’t Give Up – The Music of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.

Producer Luke Jackson (The Songs of Nick Drake) writes: “Of all the terrific shows the late great Michael Wrycraft produced at the old Hugh’s Room, Don’t Give Up is the one I’ve wanted to revisit ever since the venue re-opened.  That one-off night in March 2015 was magical, and I’m delighted to be remounting it a decade later.  I know these artists’ catalogues intimately, and I’ve curated a lineup that I truly believe will do them justice.  I’ve gathered some of the finest performers in the city and beyond and I can’t wait to see what each of them brings to the music of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush.”

It will feature performances by:

Sarah Slean – Art-pop icon and theatrical powerhouse

Kevin Fox – Soulful master cellist and vocalist

Lori Cullen – Lyrical song stylist with jazz, folk and chamber pop roots

Michelle Willis – Gospel-tinged pianist and singer, known for her work with David Crosby

Kurt Swinghammer – Electric art-rock innovator and renaissance man

Trish Robb – Smoky-voiced chanteuse with a deep emotional range

Dani Rosenoer – Ace rock pianist and former touring member of Three Days Grace

Lyle Molzan – Veteran drummer for Hawksley Workman, Dean Brody and Kathleen Edwards

Maury LaFoy – Acclaimed bassist and musical anchor for artists like k-os, Jann Arden and Colin James

Luke Jackson – Producer, songwriter, and your host for the evening Sunday November 23.
