Big Drums Are Calling

Coast Tsm’syen (British Columbia) First Nations Elder, Speaker, Singer, Songwriter and Recording Artist, Shannon Thunderbird is coming to St. John’s to present a concert at Holy Heart Theatre on Thursday, October 27th.  This concert titled “Big Drums are Calling: A Fusion of Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Voices Raised in Celebration” will also feature performances by Eastern Owl, Deantha Edmunds, Shallaway Children’s Chorus, and Holy Heart Chamber Choir.  This concert will conclude a week of workshops and presentations by Ms. Thunderbird to NLESD schools and community partners.
