IR Presents: Belinda Carroll!

Belinda Carroll is Portland-raised coffee-addict now living in Los Angeles. A comedian, published writer, actress and vocalist, she has worked with everyone from Erasure to Kids in the Hall's Scott Thompson, Cameron Esposito, Erin Foley and Nico Santos. A prolific producer she is a Founder of the Portland Queer Comedy Festival, and she has been covered in several national publications including the NY TIMES and USA TODAY. In 2019 she was awarded the Woman of Achievement award from the State of Oregon. Her writing has been published in Cracked, Curve, Huffington Post, Proud Queer Magazine, Portland Mercury, and a few anthologies. Despite her hair and to spite her Mother, she is very Queer.

Carlos Kareem Windham is a multi-hyphenate comedian, lyricist, emcee, wordsmith, provacateur, and cultural iconoclast. They host the livestream chat show "Smoke & Mirrors" on YouTube, and they are a co-host and curator of Portland's monthly showcase "Aftermath: Comedy and Music for the Apocalypse". Carlos also serves as an emcee and lyricist with Portland-based band Wallace.

Jean Grae and Wanda Sykes think Carlos is pretty funny. NPR's Jesse Thorn says Carlos pronounces their name like a character on the 1980's television program "Taxi". Michael Rappaport thinks Carlos is an asshole, and international rap suparstar Talib Kweli called them a "goofy f*ck who should mind their own goddamn business."
